Search Overview:
Overture Networks is the leader in its niche to provide Carrier Ethernet Platform Services. Through continuing product innovation and world class customer service, Overture continues to take more of their fair share of market and plans for an IPO. With the integration of Cerberus completed, the finance organization consisted of a single person – an accounting manager. The CFO will have the responsibility to develop the finance team and will be the principal architect of the company’s fiscal vision and strategy. In addition, the CFO will play a key role in acquiring a final round of private capital and leading the company through its planned IPO.

Top Search Requirements

The successful candidate will display the following competencies and characteristics:

  • Significant experience as CFO of a
    venture-backed, high technology company.
  • Strong working knowledge of software
    development and revenue recognition; SOP
    97-2 and VSOE.
  • Experience with leading a company through a significant exit transaction; preferably an IPO or acquisition.
  • Strong preference for candidates local to
    Research Triangle Park (RTP).
  • Recent and relevant experience with a
     publically traded company and the requisite
     ability to guide the company through
